In my reply to Evan, I copied the public ALAC working list as well as
Denise and Maria, as the original note went to the latter two.
Unfortunately, the text of a draft note which Evan was considering
sending about the matter to Maria, but which he on advice decided not to
send, was then sent on to the very person (and those reviewing the ALAC
public list) he had decided not to send it to.

My apologies to Evan, NARALO, and Maria! As Evan reminded me, it is
often a bad idea to forward emails from one list to another, especially
if the contents reflect a discussion which has not reached maturity. As
I told Evan, from the At-Large staff's side, we shall refrain from doing
so again, a continuation, really, as we have not to my recollection ever
done it in the past.
